#The myst trilogy series
To follow my dreams to the games industry, please join me at Twitter I just want to say goodbye and thank you for reading this article. With more than 10 million copies sold throughout the world*, the MYST series has become the benchmark for all adventures to come. I leave the site to the small, but very talented writers, who can, Im certain, carry the torch. I really liked my experience here, but it’s time for me to enter an new adventure and become a different challenge. Now it’s my turn to say goodbye to bittersweet sadness.

It was always sad to lose amazing people, but I love seeing them exceling wherever they are now. Several PSLS writers came and went, some moving to better, bigger, better things. Thank you to those incredible people who have the pleasure of working with over the years. However, I won’t drag this goodbye out too much longer. Where did I write the satirical guide and share my experience of my motorcycle accident or the love of Destiny you forged, was my main strength in that time. When I write this article, then I’ll discover more about that. My time in Spain was a blessing to my time here.

I even gave Mark Cerny an overview on Knack II, based on all of the criticisms I read from the original Knack review.Īnd hopefully a little bit in some way, I can deliver that passion to you, the PlayStation LifeStyle readers. I recently decided to host the developer panel at Polyarc.
#The myst trilogy ps3
I interviewed and rejoiced with PS3 leaders like Shuhei Yoshida, Shawn Layden and Adam Boyes. The same happened with the inimitable Tim Schafer. I did not even realize that I had a moment to do that. How did he connect to Rand Miller? It was a dream to be real.

I grew up playing Myst when I was younger. What I love most is connecting with the passionate people who make the games. In my time at PSLS, I would review and preview hundreds of games and products, from the worst one I’ve ever had to take time to watch, to the first game of the PlayStation 5.Įven though the reviews and previews and early access are what I liked most about this job, it is not just a perk. The same year I attended the first of a total of seven E3s, before the pandemic stopped us. After that, Dead Space 3 was the first time I made a cut in the book. Two months later, I was presenting my first pre-order event for Dead Space 3. The site filled with PlayStation fans looked like a home home. I love the PlayStation since the first of the PS1. In that time it became a fan of me and my neighbor, who loved those antics of Sebastian and Dan, and the swivel era of writers. I began writing for PlayStation LifeStyle in November of each year. But my nearly ten-year run at PlayStation LifeStyle is about to end. I love video games, and I don’t plan on leaving the industry anytime soon. My next mission is in community management on the development side of the games industry, so you might still see me around if you know where to look. In fact, the ability to go on my way was only allowed by the experience and connections I made with my time at PSLS. It’s not because I hate it hereon the contrary, leaving is tough a bittersweet move after such long. After more than nine years, and nearly half that time leading the site, I retire from the gaming industry.
